Pregnant Ladies: Are you taking Omega 3 and DHA?
It is apperently the new hype. I was wondering if you are taking a fish oil supplement or any kind of supplement containing Omega 3 and DHA.
I have been buying food fortified with the stuff. I also just bought a fish oil supplement called MorDHA. I found it at whole foods. But it doesn't tell me the fish they are using. I am just so scared about it containing mercury or something. I'm sure it's fine, but I was wondering what others are taking and like a lot.
I wish there was a set amount of Omega 3 and DHA we were supposed to take. Does anyone know the daily requirement?
my prenatal vitamin comes with a DHA pill. It's called Vita-fol + DHA. I'd ask your dr. if your pregnant because of the recommended amount. My pack says the omega 3's don't contain fish born contaminants so I'd check with your dr. to make sure.
